Muhammad Ali Signed 30x40 Framed Photo w/ The Beatles.
The Beatles had only been in America for 11 days when they found themselves herded into Miami Beach's 5th Street Gym for a photo op with a 22-year-old boxer named Cassius Clay. It was February 18th, 1964, and the band was in town to film their second appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Clay was prepping for his big fight with heavyweight champion Sonny Liston, but he was a 7-1 underdog and anxious to drum up ticket sales and press attention. The Beatles were happy to meet a champion boxer and get their pictures in the papers, but the group let it be known they wanted to meet Liston and not, as John Lennon said, "that loudmouth who's going to lose."
Unfortunately, Ali has passed away so there will be no more of this picture ever signed again! This is a terrific investment item to hold onto and pass down over the years! Muhammad Ali's autograph has been certified by Muhammad Ali's personal authentication company, Online Authentics. This is the best certification you can ever get of his. If you know about Ali signatures, you will know he rarely signed photos this large in size and they are rare and tough to find!! Also, this is an extremely large and very rare autograph of "The Greatest" and measures approx. 15" long which Ali was the type to sign stuff very small and not take up a lot of room. The photo is professionally custom framed with white matting and a brand new black frame! This will not last long as this one of ali's most famous photos. Be sure to check out our other Ali signed items as we have some very rare collectibles of his on our online store!
