This is an original NBA 50 Greatest Players lithograph that was made by the NBA and Field of Dreams retail stores to commemorate the NBA's 50th season in 1996. This lithograph features photos of each of the 50 greatest Basketball players in the league's history between the years of 1946 to 1996. These lithographs you may have seen before, were autographed by every player and sell for on average $40k+ and is considered the holy grail of items for basketball collectors. Each 50 greatest NBA player was given 1 lithograph signed by every player (excluding "Pistol" Peter Maravich's signature as he already had passed away) and then the NBA got signed ones and Field of Dreams got them to sell at their retail stores.
This lithograph has not been signed by any players, but you get to now own the lithograph at much more reasonable price. The total size of the lithograph 36" in length by 25" in width. This lithograph is an NBA licensed item as seen by the "NBA 50" embossing in the bottom right corner of the lithograph. At the bottom left-hand corner, you will see the Field of Dreams logo embossing. This lithograph was made as a backup to the original signed pieces and was acquired directly by a retired high ranking NBA league source and not a reproduction like many lithographs you will find out there, these are originals. We did purchase the rest of the stock from the individual, so we have the quantity available, not just 1, to sell to the biggest Basketball collectors. Be careful of copies of this lithograph as they exist out there as this is a very popular NBA piece people want in their collections so people out there take advantage of that. This lithograph is made on a lithograph heavy card stock and not on a basic paper. This item has never displayed in a collection and is in great condition.
